Captured in a desert preserve in North Scottsdale called Brown’s Ranch, this vertical 5 ×7 ratio image features a Saguaro cactus at sunrise time with warm sunrays flooding the desert landscape.
The Browns ranch property was acquired by the City of Scottsdale between 1999 and 2000 to save it from development. It is now the northern gateway to the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, which spans over 30,500 acres—making it the largest urban park/preserve in the United States.
